On Octobet 22, FemSMed's PI participated in the giornata di studi on "Scambi materiali e immateriali fra Mediterraneo allargato e Africa in età moderna", organized by Prof. Massimo Carlo Giannini of the University of Teramo and held in Palazzo Venezia in Rome. Prof. Herzig presented the findings of FemSMed's ongoing research on enslaved women in Mediterranean Catholic Europe.
