Congratulations to FemSMed's graduate researchers, Lisa Molina and Yasmine Segol, for the approval of their M.A. theses! Lisa's Master's thesis explored "The Taste of Others: The Sartorial Impact of Enslaved Black Africans on Elite Women’s Fashion in Early Modern Italy," and Yasmine's M.A. thesis focused on "Enslaved Women in the French Court: Forced Migration, Craftsmanship, and Representations (1533-1715)".
